Why Energi
Energi is the safest blockchain in the world.
Energi provides an environment where users of any skill level can safely use blockchain technology, and developers can build EVM-compatible blockchain technology free from the ever present worry about vulnerabilities that exist on other blockchains.
Our Story
Energi was conceived on the 4th of July, 2017 by blockchain-influencer and visionary, Tommy WorldPower who received a message from God to create Energi. He was told he would build a blockchain like no other. While Tommy didn’t know what the would look like at the time, it has become clear now the reason why Tommy was instructed to do so. Energi utilizes the most advanced Defense-in-Depth protocols which have effectively eliminated virtually all theft from the Energi blockchain. By doing so, Energi has solved the most pressing problem in blockchain (the matter of safety/protection from crime). No blockchain has come close to providing the level of protection Energi affords its users.
Energi embodies the same principles found in the constitution of the United States of America. The United States is built upon the foundation of “Freedom and Justice for All.” And while most blockchains (including Energi) have succeeded in providing liberty through permissionless tech, no other blockchain has provided the “Justice” component that Energi has. Energi has succeeding in thwarting virtually all theft from its blockchain for over 3 years. This is a magnanimous feat which encompasses the necessary component for blockchain to truly go mainstream.
Reflecting his level of forward-thinking, Tommy did not conduct an ICO or pre-mine for Energi, and instead bootstrapped the network. It took nearly a year for the Gen 1 blockchain to go live, after which Energi funded its contributors through its decentralized Treasury. These are the proper foundations on which a blockchain should be built in order to avoid the regulatory concerns that we see today, and is something very few other blockchains have correctly done.
Beyond Energi’s powerful safety implementations, Energi has also innovated in a number of other avenues. These include retaining both a Layer 1 and Layer 2 within the core blockchain protocol (most other blockchains have only a single layer), this positions Energi extremely well to scale without sacrificing decentralization. Additionally, Energi features a decentralized Treasury funding built into the blockchain itself which allows anyone in the world to help build and maintain the Energi ecosystem.
Ultimately, Energi was born with a heart to help liberate and evolve humanity and bring morality to money. Day by day, we see that vision coming to fruition.
